He went the extra mile yesterday. Came to set up the new thermostat and show me how it works. Then found the humidifier wasn’t working so stayed and got that going. What should have been 45 minutes was over 2 hours. Extremely pleasant and fixed on getting everything right and completed!

TL/DR trustworthy, reliable, customer first.I’ll start by saying I own an electrical company. A family friend is having a new system installed And about halfway through, they realized the electrical panel wasn’t big enough to service the equipment they were installing. Cougar immediately sent out electrician to quote a service and they were given a heavily discounted price. I was called out to make sure everything was correct, it most definitely was. I had some concerns that the electrical price wouldn’t cover all the work needed to meet code, so I reached out to (Brittany I think it was) in the permits department at Cougar, I was informed not to worry that Cougar would be taking care of my friends. It’s hard to find larger scale companies that haven’t forgotten what business is at its core, a symbiotic relationship. Kudos to Cougar Mechanical for doing the right thing, even when it wasn’t cheap or easy.

My technician was efficient and respectful. There was zero attempt to sell me more products. I would definitely use them again

The Technician was able to to get the humidifier working again after the installation. Would do business with them again.Update: The 2 technicians came out to reroute the piping to make it more visually acceptable. After we agreed on a plan, they got the work done in a timely matter. I was led to Cougar Mechanical because the previous owner of my home purchased my furnace from them, and I’m so glad she did! They have always been wonderful, not only in terms of installing an excellent furnace which is going strong so many years later, but also helping by proactively servicing the furnace to keep it running well for years to come! Recently we needed to replace our 25 year old a/c, and there was never a doubt that Cougar is who we wanted on the job! They worked with us to figure out the set up that will optimize our comfort and also our power use, and quickly and effortlessly got the job done! Our technician was fantastic, the house was completely clean when the work was done, we were just more comfortable for their time! I had a furnace that was 67 years old and the air conditioner which was 36 years old replaced. The team of 4 techs. arrived right on time and did the whole job in one day. They were very professional and quite knowledgeable on the job. Had no problem in communicating with each of them. Thought the whole job went really well. Good crew to work with.

Zamauri from Cougar Mechanical was a great technician. He showed up at the agreed upon time and was very respectful, and informative in the process. He was able to do a tune up on my furnace, ac unit and clean my tank less hot water tank. I’d recommend using Cougar for this and specifically Zamauri. I also had great success working with Kaitlyn to schedule and coordinate the appointment. Kaitlyn was able to explain each service and was clear on what I should expect.

Great service! The technician (I think his name was Jonah, but my memory ain't the best in that regard) was both friendly and respectful of my home. Work was done efficiently. He went above and beyond by taking the time to educate me on maintenance and expected lifespan of my furnace and water heater, which I found extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

We recently purchased a new home with aging HVAC equipment. After receiving a promotional flyer from Cougar Heating and Air Conditioning, we decided to call them for a second opinion on our AC, water heater, and furnace. From the initial phone call to the final installation, the staff at Cougar Heating and Air Conditioning provided exceptional service. They were professional, efficient, and thorough in assessing our needs and providing us with the best options for our home. We decided to replace our equipment, and the installation was completed promptly, just three days after we purchased our new equipment. With summer approaching, we didn't want to risk being without AC, and Cougar Heating and Air Conditioning made sure we were taken care of. Couldn't be happier with the service we received! Our technician was very efficient and did an excellent job. He was respectful of us being at home during the repair, and made sure we were informed when the repair was completed about exactly what had been done, and to help our furnace run more efficiently.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gunner when my furnace was acting up. He was very kind, respectful and went over everything he was doing. I will definitely be requesting Gunner again for my future HVAC needs.

Our old furnace died, forcing us to replace it. Our A/C was equally old and barely hanging on so we did that too. Tyler came out to go over options with us and he was very friendly and thorough. He genuinely wanted to help and wasn’t trying to upsell us a bunch of stuff we don’t need. The next day, Chris and Mark came out to do the install. They were also very friendly and did a great job on everything. They got it all done very fast, and hauled away all the old, broken equipment. Overall the whole experience was great, everything was done extremely fast, and the price was a great deal for what we needed.

We found a really good deal through Cougar Heating and Air Conditioning for an AC/HEAT Pump and install, which allowed us to afford putting in an Endless Tankless Hot Water system for the house.They arrived on time, and finished pretty much on schedule. (Had to order a part, which didn't interfere with being used).Communication was awesome, both with the office and the technicians. The technicians were very respectful of the house, our time, and the dogs and cats.The after hours team is just as phenomenal! We noticed a water leak on the weekend, it was very small, and didn't want a huge problem down the road, so I gave the after hours team a call and they were here within 4 hours-I think that it was closer to 2 hours. Fixed the issue and was gone before the dogs realized the technician was here.I really want to give a shout out to one of the technicians, Bubba. He went above and beyond in his assignment, he was the HVAC installer, he also had a helper helping him, who demonstrated a good work ethic and willingness to learn. The Plumber and his team also worked some miracles with the endless hot water tank system. I was just admiring their work earlier today.I'm going to wrap this up with talking about the first meeting and that was with Moe who arrived on time at the home. He's quite the Salesman and he always returned our calls and texts. He made the landlord at ease, and comfortable with the huge undertaking of updating the home. On top of all this, I was pretty sick, and I have only good memories of this huge undertaking.I think that it would be really awesome if y'all had a Scholarship Award Program for the younger generation who reside in y'all's service areas to go to Trade Schools and get trained in HVAC/Plumbing etc. Just a thought. I think this because of the story Moe told about how Cougar Heating and Cooling came to be... which is what kind of cinched the deal for us to work with Cougar Heating and Cooling. It was a very inspiring story.Thanks!

We had our furnace, a/c & hot water heater serviced/checked on a special being offered. It was easy to schedule. The company did well with verifying the appointment ahead of time and letting me know when the technician was coming. The technician, Gummer, was very helpful with some tips to keep in mind on preventative maintenance. He also cleaned up after himself and was willing to answer any questions.
